Aldo de Sousa Gallery Presents Cuadriforme by Raúl Mazzoni
The Argentine artist exhibits a selection of his most important works.
Until November 29 it is possible to visit Cuadriforme, Raul Mazzoni's new exhibition at Aldo de Sousa Gallery, located in Arroyo 858, in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
Many of the works that Mazzoni builds are born of a square. From this single figure he develops an inexhaustible formal program. It disarms the equilateral forms by playing with them in a practice that simulates an exercise of origami: it folds one corner, then the other, it turns them. From this action are born a series of sculptures that he conceives as three-dimensional paintings, when you go through them, you can find inexhaustible images, they look like paintings that never end. This could be the manifest repertoire of the Quadriformist movement.
