Art Madrid presents Latin American artists in Spain
With the purpose of commemorating the Bicentenaries of the independences of the Iberoamerican republics, Art Madrid is presenting the exhibition Residents: Latin-American Artists in Spain, in the Cristal Pavilion, with eleven artists that live and work in Spain.
The exposition was produced conjunctively by Art Madrid and the Secretary of State for Iberoamerica, with the collaboration of the embassies and cultural Agregadurias of the respective countries. It is part of the commemorative actions program of the Commission for the Independence of the Iberoamerican republics.
Art Madrid dedicates a differentiated space inside the Cristal Pavilion, to show the Works of eleven Latin-American artists that are residents of Spain and that have been born in the four countries that celebrate their bicentenary during 2010: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico.
Argentina is represented by Gabriela Bettini Loyarte, Lucila Bristow and Santiago Taccetti; Chile by Flavia Tótoro and Sara Malinarich; Colombia by Fernando Rubio Ahumada, Laura Ribero and Natalia Granada; Mexico by Ander Azpiri, Gustavo Salinas and Rivelino Díaz Bernal.
