Housed in a distinct serpentine structure overlooking the East River, 
the fair brings together over 190 of the most dynamic and forward-thinking galleries, both local and international, working today.

In addition to being able to see and buy art by over 1,000 of the world’s leading artists, visitors can experience the fair’s critically acclaimed Projects, Talks, Sounds and Education programs.

The fair also includes Frame, a section dedicated to solo artist presentations by emerging galleries and Focus, which features artworks specially conceived for Frieze New York.

The art bookshop is run collaboratively by Koenig Books and Artbook.com and the fair’s restaurants and cafés include some of
 New York’s finest.

Frieze Projects New York

Frieze Projects is a program of artists’ commissions realized annually at the fair. This year’s program includes site-specific works by Darren Bader, Eduardo Basualdo, Eva Kot’átková, Marie Lorenz, Koki Tanaka, Naama Tsabar and a special tribute to Al’s Grand Hotel, a legendary project realized by Allen Ruppersberg in 1971 in Los Angeles, and restaged by Ruppersberg in collaboration with Public Fiction.

Frieze Sounds is presented with BMW and features three specially commissioned audio works by Keren Cytter, Cally Spooner and Hannah Weinberger.

Both programs are curated by Cecilia Alemani.

Frieze Talks is a daily program of lectures, conversations and panel discussions, featuring leading artists, curators, writers and cultural critics.
