GALERIA MURILO CASTRO INAUGURATES NEW SPACE IN MIAMI
With a collective exhibition titled This is Brazil, the prestigious Galeria Murilo Castro Gallery inaugurated its new space based in Miami. The expansion not only means an opening to the international market, but also as the positioning as a one of the most important galleries in Brazil.
The exhibition presented at the new space in Miami includes works by Anna Bella Geiger, Amelia Toledo, Camille Kachani, Felipe Barbosa, Luiz Hermano, Marcos Coelho Benjamim, Rosana Ricalde, Sérvulo Esmeraldo and Vítor Mizael. The exhibition will be open to the public ntil December 23rd.
“Galeria Murilo Castro brings together an important roster of artists that attracts collectors from all over the world. In addition to bringing us closer to our clients and collectors outside Brazil, this expansion will also give us the chance to reach a new audience due to the exposure Miami receives during Art Basel” explains Nathália Murilo Castro.
Galeria Murilo Castro is a contemporary art gallery that originated in Belo Horizonte in 2002. Through its exhibitions and artist representation, the gallery highlights both established and emerging artists. In addition to exhibitions and participating in numerous art fairs, Galeria Murilo Castro also curates a series of lectures that connects the community to artists and art industry insiders through shared learning and dialogue.
