Leon Ferrari Prized by the Critics in ARCO 2010
In the frame of Arco 2010, the Spanish Art Critic Association (AECA) has unanimously presented the Best Living International Artist to Leon Ferrari, represented in the twenty-ninth edition of the fair. The directive commission of the association gave the diploma to his dealer Jorge Mara, in his ARCO stand Jorge Mara-La Ruche, so that he could give the celebrated artist the award.
It is important to point out that the Reina Sofia Museum is currently arranging an exposition of the piece by Leon Ferrari with the collaboration of the Brazilian artist Mira Schendel, with de curatorial work of Luis Pérez Oramas, that has been previously exposed at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York.
