PINTA MIAMI ANNOUNCES PINTA MIAMI VIRTUAL FOR DECEMBER 2020
Pinta Miami announces the cancelation of its 14th edition of its in-person fair due to the COVID 19pandemic. With the cancelation of the physical fair, they turn their efforts to a digital platform: Pinta Miami Virtual, launching on December 2nd through December 15, 2020.
Pinta Miami Virtual opens new frontiers and presents new proposals at an international level, gathering galleries from all continents. The fair consists of a galleries Main Section, Pinta Modern & Contemporary, Pinta Photography and Pinta Platform, under the curatorship of Roc Laseca. For the 2020 edition they are launching Pinta Design, coordinated by Marta Michelle, in which Brazil is the featured country. Pinta Miami Virtual is the third online fair held by the Arte Al Dia Internacional group: in May 2020, PArC Peru had the first Virtual platform and on September 1st, 2020 BAphoto Live was launched.
“The situation that we find ourselves in is unfortunate in so many ways. Throughout this pandemic and social distancing, I look for ways in which we can become more united. As we have turned to digital platforms, we have broadened our reach and engaged with audiences from around the world,” says Diego Costa Peuser, the fairs’ Director. “You can now discover and explore Contemporary and Modern Latin American art from any location.”
In an exciting time for the company, they welcome new partners for an expansion plan, including Pinta Basel 2021 and Pinta Chicago 2022. The team includes Future Brand, to support a global branding and PR campaign. Pinta Miami is directed by Diego Costa Peuser, who leads Arte al Día Internacional, an online art media platform, and is the Director at PArC - Perú Arte Contemporáneo and BAphoto.
Pinta Miami Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art Show, in its 14th edition, continues to present projects with international curators showcasing Latin American art with a global perspective in a unique platform. For more information, visit www.pintamiami.com.
