arteBA 2018: two artists and one gallery winners of the prize in work
The winners of the 11th edition of the OBRA Prize organized by Joaquín Rodríguez and Abel Guaglianone were announced in Barrio Joven dearteBA, who, thanks to the generous collaboration of collectors and art enthusiasts, managed to raise a total amount of 240 thousand pesos and give three prizes of $ 80 thousand pesos to a gallery and two artists.
The selection was made by the jury composed of Gabriela Urtiaga (curator of the CCK), Larisa Andreani (collector) and Carla Barbero (curator of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires). The winning gallery was Lateral, directed by Florencia Sadir, Hernán Aguirre García and Gaspar Núñez. And the awarded artists were Nina Kovensky, who has in this edition a single show in gallery El Gran Vidrio (Córdoba) and Fátima Pecci Carou that presents another solo in gallery Piedras.
