ABC ART BAJA CALIFORNIA OPEN CALL FOR ITS FIRST EDITION
Open call for artists and institutions to be part of the incipient cultural festival ABC Art Baja California. Deadline to apply: December 15th.

ABC Art Baja California is a cultural festival to be held from March 10 to April 23, 2023 that seeks to develop community in Baja California Sur, creating a unique experience that will help to enhance national and international artistic talent, consolidated and emerging, as well as existing cultural and commercial projects in La Paz, San Jose and Todos Santos, Mexico. The festival will present diverse activities divided as follows:
Lo Local: ABC Art La Paz, ABC Art San José and ABC Art Todos Santos.
"Lo Local" will present a circuit of the local scene giving relevance to the existing spaces in its different venues: ABC Art La Paz, ABC Art San José and ABC Art Todos Santos.
Local art galleries, hotels that will be able to show artistic interventions or exhibitions, musical spaces, pop ups, foundations, bars and restaurants, cultural spaces, among other establishments interested in promoting their reach in the local scene and be part of the calendar of activities that the ABC Art Baja California festival will promote in the different cities to create an active flow of visitors, inhabitants and the general public that will support the activation of the region.
ABC Art Todos Santos
For this first edition of ABC Art Baja California, the magical town of Todos Santos will be the main venue and in addition to "The Local" will feature: "El Cine" (video art program and selection of film proposals), "La Reunión" (conversations with artists and actors of the art scene), "El Mercado" (will bring together proposals from local designers), "La Fruta" (By Feel the fruit with fruit art exhibitions), "El NFT" (presentation of works in digital format), "La Plaza" (performances and interventions by artists in the central square of Todos Santos), "El Mural" (live realization of a mural project) and finally "El Patio" By ZⓈONAMACO.

It will feature sculptures, installations, ephemeral pieces and other interventions in an outdoor landscape of more than 7,000 m² inside Santa Terra, creating a unique experience open to the public that will be part of the journey on the ABC Art Todos Santos map.
The call for "El Patio" by ZⓈONAMACO is open to national and international artists, independent or with gallery representation, who will be selected by the curatorial committee.
Applications to participate are open until December 15. ABC Art Baja California will celebrate the culture of the different cities by creating an active flow of visitors, residents and the general public to support the activation of the region.
