Fundación Botín opens the XXVI call for its International Visual Arts grants and the XIV call for its Exhibition Curating and Museum Management grants.
Fundación Botín offers eight grants aimed at artists from any nationality, with funding of 23,000 EUR each and a duration of nine months
The mandate of Fundación Botín’s International Visual Arts grants is to fund the conception, research and execution of personal projects in the field of art production. Fundación Botín offers eight grants aimed at artists from any nationality, with funding of 23,000 EUR each and a duration of nine months. Two of the eight grants are set aside for Spanish artists under the age of 30 with the goal of enabling them to continue their work, studies or residency outside Spain.
All those who wish to apply should first fill out the application form on the Fundación Botín webpage and then forward the rest of the required documentation by post, by May 4 (included). The names of the selected artists will be announced on the webpage from July 10.
To date, 192 artists have received this scholarship to support and promote emerging artists and to fund consolidated artists who wish to develop an artistic research or training project.
At the same time, Fundación Botín is also opening a call for two grants abroad for specialised training in Exhibition Curating and Museum Management. These grants are funded with 18,000 EUR each, plus additional funding of up to 12,000 EUR for enrolment fees in the chosen educational institution. In this case, all documentation must be presented exclusively on the Fundación Botín webpage, by May 11 (included).
