THE MUSEUM LA TERTULIA LAUNCHES A NATIONAL CALL: VISIÓN DE CIUDAD
The Museum La Tertulia invites artists and creators, both Colombian and foreign residents in Colombia, to participate in the Visión de Ciudad (City Vision) call. This competition aims to integrate art, science, and technology into the creation of a sculptural project for the city of Cali. Deadline to apply: January 10, 2025.

The Coomeva Cooperative Business Group, the Center for Science, Art, and Technology of Santiago de Cali, and the Museum La Tertulia invite artists, architects, designers, and related professionals to participate in this initiative, aiming to promote the creation of a sculptural work that inspires a vision of a sustainable future and fosters innovation and the development of new collaborative ecosystems.
Those interested can register through the online application form, either in the category of individual artists (visual/plastic artists, architects, designers, and other related creators, of legal age, with at least 5 years of continuous professional experience) or in the category of groups or collectives (teams formed by visual/plastic artists, architects, designers, and other creators, where each member has at least 5 years of continuous professional experience).
The selected sculpture will be located at the Center for Science, Art, and Technology of Cali (formerly Club San Fernando), a key space that will connect the community with art and science. This project seeks to create new opportunities for collaboration towards the progress and growth of the city, integrating these fields in a single space.
The artwork will transform the urban environment, becoming a place that encourages reflection, knowledge exchange, and the creation of new imaginaries about the city. Additionally, it aims to be a meeting point for citizens, promoting the social appropriation of knowledge and highlighting the Center’s role as a driver of social cohesion and the international projection of Cali.
The Coomeva Cooperative Business Group, in collaboration with the Center for Science, Art, and Technology of Cali and the Museum La Tertulia, will be responsible for evaluating and selecting the winning sculptural proposal, following the criteria established in this call.
Visión de Ciudad is part of the celebrations for Coomeva’s 60th anniversary, in strategic alliance with the Museum La Tertulia, an institution with nearly 70 years of experience in the cultural field.
