POSSIBLE FUTURES AT THE VENICE BIENNALE
The Venice Biennale 2024 offers an exceptional platform for examining the challenges and opportunities facing the future. The pavilions of Japan, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary trace different forms of looking at and thinking about the world to come, projecting visions of the environment, equilibrium, adaptation, world order and, of course, collective memory.

BEYOND BAROQUE: CONTEMPORARY ART AT THE SCHLOSS WALDEGG

HAUS CONSTRUCTIVE EXHIBITS JOSE DÁVILA’S SOLO SHOW IN ZÜRICH
Memory of a Telluric Movement is the title of this exhibition at Museum Haus Konstruktiv. It presents a comprehensive solo exhibition to Mexican artist Jose Dávila (b. 1974 in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he lives and works). Curated by Sabine Schaschl and on view until September 11th.
JUMEX MUSEUM EXHIBITS URS FISCHER: LOVERS
Internationally recognized for creating works that are thoughtful, bewildering, and playful, Urs Fischer works across sculpture, photography, drawing, painting, and publishing, employing a variety of materials and processes that resist easy classification.
MARCELO BRODSKY EXHIBITS “STAND FOR DEMOCRACY: MYANMAR”
Organized by Human Rights Art Initiative and art+château, this photographic exhibition in Zurich features artist and human rights activist Marcelo Brodsky (b. 1954, Buenos Aires, Argentina) along with video works and a performance by Ko Latt, Yadanar Win, Lily and Zoncy, who represent the new generation of Burmese artists and whose work reveal elements of Myanmar’s social, political, and cultural narrative. Curated by Giulia Busetti and Dr. Valentina Locatelli.
FONDATION BEYELER CELEBRATES ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY
In 2022, the Fondation Beyeler's exhibition programme takes place under the banner of its 25th anniversary. It launches with a major retrospective on Georgia O'Keeffe, followed by the summer exhibition "Mondrian".
ON THE MEANING OF INTERSECTION – EAMON ORE-GIRON’S EXHIBITION IN GENEVA
Geneva-based gallery Espace Muraille presents Eamon Ore-Giron: Auto-Tune, the first-ever show of the Los Angeles-based artist in continental Europe. Curated by Valentina Locatelli and developed in close collaboration with the artist, the exhibition gathers eighteen paintings from his ongoing series Infinite Regress, conceived especially for the exhibition in Geneva, and two loom-woven tapestries created in collaboration with the Taller Mexicano de Gobelinos in Guadalajara, Mexico
MARÍA SÁBATO EXPLORES THE NATURE OF LIMITS IN “INTERMITTENT GEOGRAPHIES”
In collaboration with Jimena Pérez Salerno, the Argentine artist carried out a performance in the river which she later translated to la_cápsula’s gallery space in Zurich, Switzerland.
