APEXART 2025-26 INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL
apexart welcomes proposals for group exhibitions as part of its 2025-26 International Open Call, which will be open from February 1 to March 1, 2025. The five winning initiatives will each receive a $10,000 USD exhibition budget and become official “apexart exhibitions” in their respective locations around the world. Curators, artists, writers, and creative individuals—regardless of experience level or location—are invited to submit a proposal online.
Submissions must describe a focused, idea-driven, and original group exhibition. Biographical information, résumés, links, and images will not be accepted. Proposals must not exceed 500 words and must be submitted in English.
A jury from 85 countries will evaluate submissions based on personal interest, cultural value, content, and clarity of the proposed idea, rather than images. apexart’s selection system relies on collective evaluation, with hundreds of jurors from over 85 countries reviewing proposals at their own pace. The jury consists of more than 600 individuals from diverse professional backgrounds and international locations, including students from 20 participating university classes, who will rate the applications. Submissions are anonymous and randomly assigned to ensure equal consideration, generating over 20,000 votes across nearly 600 proposals.
Each of the five winning initiatives will receive a $10,000 USD exhibition budget; a printed exhibition brochure distributed to over six thousand international recipients; and the opportunity to be part of apexart’s 2025-26 exhibition season. apexart provides full administrative and logistical support, assisting curators in transforming their original ideas into focused and compelling exhibitions. Curators must work within the allocated funding.
Applicants must submit their exhibition proposals between February 1 and March 1, 2025.
