OPEN CALL FOR BROOKS INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME
The Delfina Foundation and Tate announced the 2025 Brooks International Fellowship Programme. This prestigious initiative offers visual arts professionals from around the world a unique opportunity to collaborate with Tate colleagues in London for six months, supported by a residency at Delfina Foundation.
The Brooks International Fellowship Programme, made possible by the Rory and Elizabeth Brooks Foundation, has hosted 14 Fellows from diverse countries, including Argentina, India, and Pakistan, since its inception in 2014. This fully funded programme provides Fellows with the chance to immerse themselves in cutting-edge research, curatorial practices, and community engagement projects while contributing to public programmes at Delfina Foundation. In 2025, two distinct Fellowships are available:
Fellowship with Tate St Ives Programme Team
- Dates: 23 June – 7 December 2025
- Location: Tate St Ives, an artistically significant coastal town in England’s southwest.
- Focus: The Fellow will contribute to the Artists Programme, exploring residency models that integrate socially engaged practices and community building. Research themes include climate justice, social equity, and indigenous cultures. The role also involves developing sustainable frameworks for artist residencies while fostering international networks.

Fellowship with Tate Modern Curatorial Division
- Dates: 23 June – 7 December 2025
- Location: Tate Modern, London.
- Focus: The Fellow will delve into the evolution of ink art across East and Southeast Asia during the 20th century. This research will inform Tate’s expanding ink collection and contribute to future exhibitions. The aim is to contextualize modern ink art beyond Euro-American frameworks, highlighting its innovation and cultural significance.

Both Fellows will reside at Delfina Foundation, London, sharing a dynamic space with other residents. Facilities include private rooms with desks, shared common areas, and access to library and dining spaces. Workspaces will be available at both Delfina Foundation and relevant Tate sites. The programme also includes supported travel to other Tate galleries and cultural institutions across the UK.
