LIVING DURING THE COLLAPSE AT BERGEN KUNSTHALL
Norway’s museum presents the group exhibition Everything Is So Alive! a show that offers a hopeful exploration of the possibilities for cohabiting the ruins of a world moving into collapse.

The exhibitionviews collapse as a generative force, as a moment of new beginnings, as an opportunity for fresh starts, where brokenness is embraced as a state to inhabit and navigate, challenging the neoliberal notion of repair. It focuses on the dismantling of prevailing frameworks and systems that define how we perceive our existence. It highlights the need to break away from oppressive social, political, and environmental structures rooted in Western ideology.
Dora Budor (Croatia), Tianzhuo Chen (China), Nikita Gale (United States), Ventura Profana (Brazil), Tracey Rose (South Africa) and Tejal Shah (India), are the artists involved in the exhibition, curated by Nora-Swantje Almes and Silja Leifsdottir.

The artistic creations portray past, present, and future forms of life that resemble fiction. By employing approaches such as storytelling, preservation, and interaction with Indigenous knowledge systems, Everything is so alive! offers the idea that beauty can be found in chaotic scenarios. What lies ahead?
